Welcome
Aloha, I’m DC (of Uke & Drum and Grateful Dave) a local Jersey Shore musician and live performer. I’m known for my smooth vocal style and playing popular music with a distinctive coastal cool vibe. My live set includes a wide range of pop, reggae and singer-songwriter material featuring voice, acoustic guitar and ukulele.
Live shows are at the heart of what I do. In 2022, I played over 100 live events ranging from ocean front tiki bars, pubs and night clubs to local festivals and charity events. Every show is packed with good vibes and impeccable musicianship.
Grateful Dave Music
In December 2022 I started posting cover versions of my favorite Grateful Dead, Phish and Pink Floyd songs on Instagram as “Grateful Dave”. The response has been overwhelming with more than 500 new followers in just a few months! So much so that I’m booking live solo acoustic dates on the Jersey Shore. Uke & Drum
Since 2013 I’ve been playing live events in the summer months with “Uke & Drum” and this summer marks the 10th year of live shows! Over that time Uke & Drum has released three full length albums as well as a holiday EP. Originally a duo I have moved on to playing with an electric trio and solo for smaller venues. My music is available on all streaming platforms brings together a love of electric guitar, funk, jazz and rock. Featuring my guitar work and original compositions that roll from rocking to atmospheric.
I also lends a hand with other artists playing electric guitar and bass for live events and recoding sessions. For fun I also works with artists behind the scenes as a recording engineer and producer. My studio, Central Avenue Productions is located in Island Heights, New Jersey.
